Staying local.......

On a beautiful spring day I decided to stay local yesterday and checked a few woodlands for Common Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and Wood Warbler but without success, probably a week or so early at present, did pick up lots of Ciffchaffs, Blackcaps and Willow Warblers though together with our more common resident species and my first Peacock butterfly of the year......
