'A trip to the seaside'.......

After a lay in and with a bit of a late start I headed to Trecco Bay, Porthcawl this morning hoping to connect with the female/juv type Black Redstart that has been at the beach end of Rhych Avenue for a couple of weeks.
 Although very flighty and elusive at times I managed a few shots of the bird flitting around the roofs of the caravans that I was quite pleased with although I had hoped to catch it a little closer, don't you just love such natural perches.......

A supporting cast from brief visits to Meadow Lake, Zig Zag Lane and Wilderness Pool, Porthcawl finishing off the day at Kenfig Pool.
