Dan, Wayne, my mother and I visited this traditional Nightjar site, and had no problem finding these amazing creatures. Several were seen perched and in flight, there was much churring, and some croaking. A lifer for my mother, hopefully we can take The Twitchmeister in 2009!

Nightjars normally nibble at night

Dan, Wayne, my mother and I visited this traditional Nightjar site, and had no problem finding these amazing creatures. Several were seen perched and in flight, there was much churring, and some croaking. A lifer for my mother, hopefully we can take The Twitchmeister in 2009!

We'll have to make the 2009 trip on a Friday or Saturday, so the TM can stay out late. He'll have to buy the beer in the Brynffynon though!
