In May I thought I'd try out the Pro Capture feature on my new OM-1 camera by trying to photograph Sand Martins in flight above the River Ogmore which runs through Bridgend town centre.
The birds nest in holes in the masonry flood defence river walls which is only a short walk from the nearest car park. It is a very convenient spot and from my vantage point the birds can sometimes be photographed at eye level.
Here are a few images that I managed to capture in my two visits, I won't let on though with regard to how many shots I deleted........
