On Monday 1st May 2023 the May Day BankHoliday myself and friend fellow birder/togger Dave Gilbert and his grandson Jenson visited Pal-Y-Cwrt near Ammanford which is an excellent area to see and photograph Common Cuckoo although this can still be a little hit and miss as previous visits have proved unproductive on occasions.
This time however we were in luck and there were a couple present with one confiding bird posing beautifully for us, the three of us came away with images that we were really pleased with, certainly my best images of Cuckoo.......
