Distant, but showing well. Parking is a nightmare at this site.
Travelled on to Llandegfedd Res, where there has been a Red Necked Grebe. Unfortunately, the gate was locked, so no access to the North end was possible.
I saw these birds over the Christmas break and can confirm the parking problem. Some Gwent birders reckon you can park down the track that's marked private. Alternatively, park at Four Locks and walk down the road to the lakes. There's nothing else of much interest there though, despite John O'Sullivan's efforts.
