Yet another visit to the Lougher Estuary on the Gower side this time on Monday 12th February in search of the Pallid Harrier, but despite a 5 hour stint I failed to connect once again. I did though have the thrill of seeing and photographing a stunning male Hen Harrier making it's way back to it's roost further down the estuary at Llanrhidian.
Although I've photographed a 'ringtail' in the past this was the first time for me to capture a male.
Not the greatest of photos but I was really pleased to get some images of such a stunning bird.....
