We dipped Rough-legged Buzzard and Great Grey Shrike, and didn't go for Ross' Goose, and of course the Western Sandpiper had buggered off before we arrived. Our regular annual ticks of Twite and Whooper Swan are missing and Purple Sandpipers don't really over-winter in Norfolk, do they?

Hi Wayne and welcome to the blog, impressive list but sad lack of images.
Are you lot blind, you DIDN'T connect with RLB with the number that are reported daily, shame on you.
I'm told that the Western Sand was looking quite sickly so it may well have "popped it's clogs".
Must go - dashing up to Garwnant to twitch Robin and Blackbird,it's a real "hotspot" for them as they seem to have declined in East Anglia, toodle pip !!
DJJ was on images duty. He's got quite a few crap shots, but the light was poor to be fair. He's also got a stonker of our Libanus Great Grey Shrike.
I left a couple of errors in the list, just to make sure you were paying attention. Well done!
Choseley was dripping with Corn Buntings and Yellowhammers, and Flitcham had plenty of Tree Sparrows. No Scoter raft off Titchwell this year, but four Long-tailed Ducks there saved us the freeze off Holme.
We gave the Thornham RLB every chance to show for us, but it didn't come out to play.
