There seems to be plenty of redstarts around this year. We saw 4 or 5 at Dyffryn Wood near Rhayader on our return south yesterday. We also managed brief glimpses of a pair of pied flycatchers.

Showing and singing in a wood near Cardiff. Apparently 10 male Redstarts holding territory here. A pair of Pied Flycatchers were also present.
